Although the C919 poses a huge threat to Boeing, it is not fatal. After all, Boeing can still occupy the market for wide body aircraft in China. In terms of wide body aircraft, China will break the Western monopoly.

The CR929 long-range wide body passenger aircraft jointly manufactured by China and Russia has completed the preliminary preparation work, and the first aircraft has started construction. It is expected to complete its maiden flight in two years.

Analysts have pointed out that the joint production of wide body large aircraft by China and Russia this time is a huge blow to both Airbus and Boeing. China already has the technology to manufacture large passenger aircraft, but there is still a certain gap between China and the West in aviation development. Russia's participation can make up for this deficiency, and this cooperation between the two sides will break the long-standing monopoly of Europe and the United States in wide body large aircraft.

So, even if Boeing's go around application in China is ultimately approved, it may not be able to save Boeing's ultimate fate of losing the Chinese market, and even many Asian markets may not be able to survive in the future.

After all, in many regions of Asia, the influence of Russia and China is still very significant. Once the CR929 wide body passenger plane jointly developed by China and Russia is launched, it will quickly occupy the market of many countries. According to Chen Yingchun, the chief designer of CR929 China, it is expected that the order volume of CR929 after its maiden flight will reach 1000. It can be imagined that the days that will make Boeing and Airbus uncomfortable are still ahead.
